Jane Thomson (Whitecraigs) who had reached the
final of the Bronze Championship of the West Vets lost to Moira
McCartney (Milngavie) by 2 and 1 in the final today.

Jane's Comments at the end of the day were : She was a very 'sponky'
player and was very steady whereas I saw considerably more of the
course? A lovely day, my birthday and I really enjoyed it. Renfrew
had dried up and the greens were lovely. The trees and blossom just
coming to their best. Pat Walker had a camera but she has gone to
Islay today.
Thanks Jane for telling us your day --- and HAPPY BIRTHDAY
