After beating defending champions Lanarkshire,
then Dunbartonshire & Argyll,
Renfrewshire completed a clean sweep over the three days by beating

In the morning foursomes we were down in all 3 matches at the 16th hole

2 to play against L Hendry and won the 17th and 18th to halve her match.
Donna Jackson won her tie on the 18th, Lesley Robertson
halved against Catherine Malcolm and then Gillian McGinlay had a
superb birdie down the last to secure a wonderful victory
Renfrewshire’s top player was Donna Jackson (Cochrane Castle)
with 4 1/2pt out of a possible six. Donna was followed closely by
Stirling University student Clare-Marie Carlton (Fereneze) with
4pt.
Dunbartonshire & Argyll finished
runners-up by beating Lanarkshire
5-4 in the other last-day match.
